Registration Signature Capture
This document explains how to add a signature field to your registration form, configure its behavior, and verify the captured signature from the registrant platform.
Step 1: Open the Form Designer
Open your event or registration setup area and navigate to the form designer to begin editing your form.
Step 2: Add a Signature Field
Within the form designer, add a new field within any section you have available.
In the field type options, locate the Media and Files category and select the Signature field. This allows registrants to sign their name as a way of confirming their identity during registration.
Step 3: Name and Configure the Signature Field
Give the field a clear label so registrants understand what it is for.
You are able to set the field to Required so that registrants must complete the signature before proceeding, or leave it optional.
Choose the allowed signature input method: Draw, Type, or Both, depending on your preference and requirements.
If desired, connect this field to a person’s profile or a related document field so the signature can be referenced later within the app.
Configure visibility rules to control whether the signature field is shown or hidden based on other responses in the form.
Step 4: Save the Field and Form
Keep the default settings for now, then click Submit to add the signature field to the form.
You should now see the signature field listed in your form layout, although you cannot interact with it directly in the designer preview.
Save your changes and close the form designer.
Step 5: Launch the Registration Site
Open or launch the public-facing registration site to test the new signature field.
Step 6: Complete a Test Registration
Start a new registration, filling in your details as needed.
When you reach the signature field, sign using the drawing option with your cursor or touch input, or switch to the typing mode if enabled.

Step 7: Review the Signature in the Registrant Platform
Open the registrant platform and locate the registrant you just created to view their record.
From the registrant’s profile, review the tickets they have signed up for.
Click into the form submission to view the stored signature associated with this registration.
Step 8: Access the Signature Document
Be aware that the signature is also saved as a document within the system.
You can open and view this generated signature document from the registrant’s record or document area.
